Cannot Upgrade Firmware On Macbook Pro!
I download the new update then shut down and on start up I hold the power button down until I hear the beep. I launch update and there it is again. What am I missing here?

You need to hold down the power button until the power light begins to flash then let go.
Also the computer MUST be plugged into power.
The FirmWare update instructions are quite good, And I think that you can even print them out if you need to. Read over then a couple of times completely before doing the update.
There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!
