  Cannot Solo or Hide layer

  Hi,

  Here’s an odd one.

  I seem to have changed some setting in After Effects so that now when I create an new comp I cannot solo the layers, shut off the visibility or lock the layer.

  If I open an old project, I can turn these switches on an off, but not on a new project.

  I am hoping this is some simple setting, but I have no idea where to look.

  This is AE8 CS3 on OS-X 10.5.2 on a MacPro 8Core with 16GB Ram

  Any help would be helpful.
