  • Cannot see all my movie in the timeline

    Hi

Probably doing something really silly, but I am only seeing the first minute frame of my movie, which is about 4 minutes long. How do I get the ‘whole movie’ into the timeline so I can add keyframes etc.

I don’t know what you mean by “first minute frame” but unless there’s something really wrong with your system you should be able to see the entire video in a timeline.

Navigate to your movie in Premier’s Media Browser and then drag it to a Bin.
Create a new Sequence with your desired Audio and Video Settings and then Drag and Drop the Movie from the Bin to the Timeline.

Take a moment to place a value on it and then maybe add two more.

    Hi

I searched around last night and there are two ‘show thumbnails continuously’ timeline options which were turned off in my installation. I turned them on and can now see the whole video.

    thanks for responding to this.
