Cannot return to multicam edit
Hello all – I need help, and I hope this is an easy fix that I simply cannot find…
I’m a relative novice to Premiere Pro CC, after having edited in FCP 7 for the past 5-6 years. I’m working on a long (3 hr) multicam edit in Premiere Pro, and needed to make some adjustments to a source clip. There are several ways to do this, but I used Cmd-double-click on the multicam sequence in the timeline, which opened the timeline into stacked source clips. I then double-clicked on the fallback shot, made some color corrections, and… I cannot return to the multicam edit. I have no idea how to get my timeline back. I’m stuck with stacked tracks that do not reflect the past 3 hours of edits.
What happened, and what do I do now? I’m basically ready to flatten the multicam, but I don’t have the option. Someone please throw me a lifeline!

last step where you double clicked the shot in the nested seq….
I think you only need select it in the sequence….
does it have a Color correction effect applied to the clip?
if so any changes you make in the effects controls are already propagated all the way thru the final edit….
there is no “putting it back”….it’s there…

It just sounds like you opened a multicam clip in its own timeline. Your edited timeline should still be there.
