    I have build 7.0e build 216 installed on a newer laptop 2.2 gz dual core, vista and plenty of Ram. The render starts and finishes quickly leaving only a split second of footage rendered. What did I do wrong?

    Sounds like you have “Render loop region only” selected and you have a small sliver selected on your timeline.
