Cannot link video to audio in timeline clips
Video and audio clips cannot get linked in timeline.
Both ‘stereo pair’ and ‘link’ are selected under ‘Modify’ obtian for all clips.

Try Shift-L. “Linked Selection” – a bit different than Modify>Link. It’s a toggle.

You are right Kevin, I forgot about the little ‘Linked Selection’ button on the top right corner of timeline.
PS- I still did not resolve my capture audio sync problem and I replied to your advice. Your fcpworld.com – very useful webpage, I bookmarked it. Thanks.

Yeah. Linked Selection will bite you if you aren’t aware of it.
Myself? I never use it. If I want to trim audio or video in a split edit, I just option+drag the cut.
