Cannot Import A Large Amount Of MXF Files But Can If Its A Few?
I have this incredibly annoying problem with Vegas 12 and 10
From what I gathered the program cannot seem to handle importing a lot of videos into it at once or else I get the Problem Report message its a 0xc00000005 error number
I had a random problem while editing with Vegas 12 it seemed at just random moments of editing it would just choose to select when the program would crash, I never had this problem on 10 so I figured I would just simply copy and paste the videos into 10, simple right? But Vegas 10 started to crash, I soon realized that if I copied only a few videos and pasted them at a time slowly it didnt crash, pretty silly problem if you ask me.
But then I figured I could not copy and paste a text file that just had a regular font and I figured that was one of the reasons It was closing.
So I started editing and then I decided to import some more MXF files and to my surprise it couldnt even import them I just got the same closing message and it shut off, im assuming I can choose a few and just import them slowly but I cant do that I have way to many clips.
I just dont understand what is doing this I have such an incredibly fast computer now there is no reason for this to be happening please someone help!

Hi, out of interest – how many files are you talking abut? in terms of number if files and the total size of the files?
Are you using the Import command: File > Import > Media or are you Browsing to them in explorer and then Adding them to the Project Media?
