Cannot get AVI file to play on a TV
Hello,
I have a CS6 project that i’ve been trying to complete for the last 6 months and I cannot for the life of me figure it out.The source files are .mpg and .mp4 from a VHS to DVD conversion software.
After editing I export to AVI or AVI uncompressed and save to an external HDD but I cannot get it to be recognised by a television.
The strange thing is that I have one clip on the HDD from the same source files that I have saved which does work but I cannot do it again.Would anyone be kind enough to help me through this please? It’s driving me nuts.

You will have to read the tv or media player manual which formats are supported.
dv-avi or uncompressed is usually not one of them. Stick to mp4.———————————————–
