  cannot find/view any PSD files

  I had to restore my drive yesterday and I used a restore point that was only 24 hours old. I noticed that the icons for the psd files on my computer had changed but i thought nothing of it until now.

  when I go and try to locate psd files to open they do not show up.

  I just recently saved some snapshot in psd format and I cannot find them in the file i saved them in. If I search for them with vista, I can see them, but when i try to open them I get a “missing shortcut” message.

  Can I fix this? what has happened?
