Cannot export from After Effects CC to C4d R15
I was hoping someone could help me out. I have a problem where I export my after effect animation to a .c4d file (File>Export>Cinema 4D Exporter) and it creates a .c4d file however when I go to import that into c4d it always come in as a null object. I have also noticed that my export no matter how complex or simple the animation is always the same size c4d file which doesn’t seem right.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

One thing that for me I always have to check that I’ve deselected all my layers before I export into a C4D file. Otherwise, that is very strange. Recently I made a simple 3d camera track, and created a camera and a solid, which I then exported out as a c4d file. The camera and the solid were both there in Cinema just fine.

Thanks for the response, I’ve tried deselecting all the layers as well as selecting them all, no luck either way.
