cannot capture from MIni DVD
I have a Cannon DC211 Camcorder that records directly onto a mini DVD disc.
I want to edit and make home movies.
I have Roxio,Nero ,Pinnacle and Windows Movie maker.
None of the above will capture from DVD in PC.
I have tried copying DVD to hard drive without success.
Have been advised to download a DVD ripper programm.
The ones I have Googled seem aimed at commercial films.
IF I can down load to hard drive will it be in a format that will allow me to edit in one of the above programmes?The mini discs are finalized RW’s that are player compatible and run on my DVD player.
Any help appreciated.

Windows Movie Maker should do this. I used to use that until I went to Premier CS3.
