June 21, 2007 at 9:14 pmThe LiveFonts are fonts. They are what they are. If they’re Times, they can’t be Arial. They’re small movies, one for each glyph in the font family. You can’t alter the movies other then colorizing them and changing the timing.
The timing of the behaviors can be changed in the inspector in the timing panel. They can also be changed with the parameters in the effects panel.
All the best,
Tom

June 21, 2007 at 9:19 pmSize is the only parameter you can change with “Live fonts”. However the effects you apply to regular fonts are editable. The effects tab in the inspector will show the active effects. You can add, delete or modify the key frames. It is not intuitive but with some playing around you can make the canned effects look less canned.

June 21, 2007 at 9:31 pmTom and Joe,
Thanks for your quick responses.
I fugured that was the case with LiveFonts.
With the conventional fonts, I watched the Attributes as I stepped through an effect frame by frame, and sure enough they change with the keyframes.
Again, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
