In C4D, is it possible to hold a modifier key when scaling in order to scale by a higher factor? Similar to After Effects how you can hold shift and it will scale by a factor of 10 rather than one.

    Does that make sense?

Also, along those same lines, is it possible to control the factor by which you orbit in the scene? I’m finding that it’s taking several strokes to orbit around a simple object.

There’s no modifier to increase scaling speed, but you can scale faster by doing the operation multiple times instead of doing one long drag.

You can change the editor move/rotate/scale speed in preferences>viewport.
