  • can you reword or edit your posts?

I noticed that I can reply to a post made by someone else. I can select reply again to try to change a typo mistake or reword my post better. However if I select to post the new reworded version the old post is still there. In other words there are now two posts instead of one. I thought it would just revise/delete the first post but I guess not. It is odd that I could open up my previous reply but I don’t think you can reword post or fix typos in these forums without creating multiple posts. Is this correct?

Thanks. The option is probably there I just don’t see it. When I click reply the newly edit version is what I see. I cannot seem to get back to the old version to delete it. It just looks odd seeing two posts that are basically the same. I will not try to edit my post again. Maybe the moderators will delete the older version.

I think there is a very short window to edit a post. There used to be at least.

if you’re in the forum, click on the specific post you want to edit,
if you are within the thread, go to REPLY to the post you want to edit.
if you are logged in, and the author, then at the lower left you’ll see “Edit” in blue

    here’s a screen grab:

Thanks for the screen shot. I final figured it out but I cannot delete my original post. I can make changes to it. I was going back to reply to the person I left feedback for. It allows you to do that but it makes a second reply. I see know that you hit reply on your response and it lets you edit your response. At least I know how to do it. Thanks again for your help.
