can you maximize any window in FCP X like in PP CS6???
Does anyone know if it’s possible to maximize windows in FCP X???
Right now I’m working in Premiere Pro CS6, and I love being able to maximize any window in PP CS6…the source monitor, the program monitor, timeline, browser, bin window.

Not something you can do in FCPX. You can drag the borders to resize and you can open either the clip browser or timeline viewer on a second monitor.

I think you mean dock/detach a specific window? In FCPX the entire interface is displayed as a single window with many individual panes. Most can be resized to a certain extent.

In Adobe, hover the cursor over any of those panes and press tilde. The whole pane goes full screen. EXTREMELY useful.

You can also hide the Library or Browser or both to give yourself more real estate to work with.
I do like that option in PP because the interface seems so cluttered.

You also get a few more layout options in X when using multiple monitors.
