    in final cut pro you can select a color lets say a red ball rolling on the floor, and then make everything else black and white around it,
    all in the color corrector,,,can you do something like this in ppro….i thought final cut and p pro were suppose to be pretty close in terms of what they can do,,,but im starting to find this not to be true.

    Try the Color Pass effect. The SetUp screen available through the small icon beside the effect name in the Effects Control Window is probably the easiest way to set it up.

    You might find it useful to have a browse through the on-line help pages on the different effects available in Premiere Pro. Start from Help/Contents, then Applying Effects, then Video Effects included with Premiere Pro.
