Can you digitize only one audio track on FCP 4.5?
Can you digitize only one audio track on FCP 4.5 HD?
I am using FCP 4.5 as a digitzing station. However when I try to digitze only 1 track (by using the capture mode settings and selecting audio (L) or audio (R), the resulting quicktime clip still seems to have 2 audio tracks.
I know in FCP 5 you can have it do only one. How do I do that in FCP 4.5?
My hunch is its probably easy. I’m just missing something I think.

It’s two layers but I suspect it will only be one line if you have set your capture to do either L or R.
