Can where lid opens in realistic manner
Hi,
I’m looking to create an animation of a can where the lid opens up in a realistic manner.
In the case it’s a can filled with chocolates, thus the lid should open completely, and should bend as it does when you open such a can.

I’ve seen a similar animation (where the lid is pulled from the can) on a plugin page for C4D but can’t recall the link. If anyone has some helpful hint, I’d be grateful to hear from you.

If it opens like a tennis ball can it seems like a simple bend deformer should do the job.
