Can this work? – G4 PowerBook / Leopard / FCS 2
I’ve got an offer to buy a PowerBook G4, 15″, 1.67 MHz, 1.5GB memory,
ATI Radeon Mobility 9700 64 MB video adapter.The seller claims that he’s got installed Leopard and FCS 2.
I doubt that he can run FCS 2 on those specs, but I’d be happy even if I CAN RUN FCP 6
on it as it’d be used mostly for rough cutting / storage (firestore transfer on the road)
and mostly working in DV and HDV.Does anyone run FCS 2 on PowerBook G4 and Leopard?
He said that he can bring it back to Tiger and FCP 5 if I wanted to.
Any suggestions?

Final Cut Studio 2…yes. FCP, Motion, Soundtrack, DVD SP, Compresor, Cinema Tools…yes. Color, no.
Leopard and FCS 2? Dunno…didnt’ try.

If you are buying it with the software be sure he gives you the original install disks. If he douse not he is giving you Illegal software.
All original disks for all the software on the machine.
