  • Can the Audio Editor sync wtih the Timeline?

Posted by Scot Walker on June 21, 2005 at 4:34 pm

I’m in the timeline and I have my playback head at 1:35. I switch to the Audio Editor and the playback head is at 0:00. Is there any way to have Motion sync them?

    Thanks!

If you are trying to sync keyframes to the audio waveform, just enable the waveform display in the Keyframe Editor.

    Thanks, Jim.

Yeah, I have the waveform visible. When I switch to the Audio Editor, my playback head defaults to 0:00 in the timeline. It’s difficult to coordinate the key frames in the Timeline with key frames I create in the Audio Editor because the playback heads aren’t synced between the two.

Yes, I understand that the two are essentially separate “apps” within Motion. Sounds like a suggestion for the team.
