  Can someone please explain GAMMA settings

  Hello,

  Can someone please explain in laymen terms the difference between GAMMA settings Standard, Cinematone1 and 2, ITU709, G5.0, PD, x.v.

  I shoot primarily corporate video and I am struggling to find picture profile settings to get a nice looking image.

  Also, I continually get graininess whenever someone wears a black blazer. To rid my videos of that should I be using a negative Black Gamma Level (-7 = max black compression) or a positive one (7+ maximum black stretch)? How about Range (High/Middle/Low).
