Trying to drag markers in the timeline (you have to command drag in the timeline). If I drag anything over about 10 seconds, the marker disappears. Does that happen to you?

Working fine here, although I notice if the mouse pointer moves above or below the ruler as I’m dragging, the marker will disappear. It comes back when the mouse returns to the ruler area though, so as long as I don’t release the mouse while outside the ruler, everything is fine.

They move along fine for me, both as regular markers and chapter markers (which are the ones I use most frequently). It’s in a DVCProHD 720p23.98 timeline with same type of footage.

I’ve found that with FCP7 on 3 machines here (10.5.x), each has their own quirks. 1 will sometimes, but not always, ask you to render 44.1kHz audio in a 48kHz, 1 will change the sequence name to whatever you paste into the sequence and the the last has neither of these features. One newly 10.6’ed machine with FCP7 screwed up self contained exports in as so far as the audio being FUBAR.

Great call. Thank you. As long as the pointer ends up in the ruler, it comes back.

    Thanks,

Huh. Not seeing anything like that, Nicole, but I always convert my audio to 48/24bit with a Compressor droplet. This helps to not have weird render files that point ot the wrong audio. If you are having issues like that, delete all the audio render files and try again.

Someone else mentioned that timeline changing names (as well as your other post) but I didn’t see a resolution.
