I just watched some tutorials from a program called bibble.
It is designed for efficient workflow for photographers using RAW format.

One very nice feature was it’s quick ability to fix photographs with blown out highlights, or dark areas.
It fixes dark areas without adjusting light areas and it darkens blown out shots without darkening the dark areas.

How would you do this with Photoshop CS2?

    Thanks

    Larry

    Great response Richard
Technology is a wonderful thing! I have used this feature for months now but your explanation of tonal range brought it home. Thanks.
