I jsut finished scanning 157 slides. I used a batch mode autname routine and have tif files with sequential filenames like DS050909213412.tif
where the year month date hour minute and second are assigned.

I want to do a batch process and convert the tifs to jpeg’s with new names like BL001.jpg to BL157.jpg.
    Can photoshop 7.0 do this?
If you know how can step me through it?

    Thanks

    Larry

It’s part of the Batch Command… Look at the naming area…

Under OSX you can also do this with automator and it describes it pretty well in the built in help
