Can one record poly wav files with an Edirol R4 Pro recorder?
Working on a film – trying to sync footage to sound within REDCine-X but it only allows one audio file to be synced to a video file. I asked my sound recordist to record poly WAV instead of mono WAV but he doesn’t know if he is able to with the Edirol R4 Pro – tried looking at the manual and it doesn’t look like you can record poly but I wanted to ask just in case I missed something. It would really help.

OK – reading through the manual again, I found you can change the record mode to 4CHx1 – so I will pass that info along to the sound recordist.
