  • Can not find keyframe on my window!

Posted by Manuel Calleja on October 3, 2008 at 11:55 pm

    Hi everyone!

I am trying to make a video and notice that everyone is using keyframes to make their videos. I looked at some tutorials and people say for an example:
” go to you text and edit it” (say where youtype what ever you want)
then I make another layer effect..and want that effect to move around.

In order to that i have to go to the keyframe on the special fx window. Say “Sony Noise texture” I can’t find any keyframe on that window..??????????????????????????????

Where did it go??? Everyone on the tutorials have it on their window but i don’t.
Did I not activate it or something? I have the full version….

    Thanks alot
    Manny!

Not quite sure what your question is…

Are you saying you can’t see the keyframes bar in the window? If so you might have accidentally scrolled the window size down. Go to the bottom of the window and pull the “hidden” window back into view.

If you are trying to move text around and are asking how to do that, you need to use the track motion button (the window with the arrow) on the trackbar.

I suggest you read through the SV manual and get acuainted with all the features, or check out the VASST training series, that really helped me. Most notably the sections on the media manager and pro type titler.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers

Hover your mouse over the bottom of the windows until your cursor turns into a black double arrow (up/down). Then click and pull up. It’s hard to catch sometimes so very slowly from the bottom of the window hover your cursor slowly toward the top until it looks like this:

You’re welcome… yea, it’s kinda subtle and if you don’t know what to look for you may never notice the cursor change. They say a picture is work a 1000 words. 😉
