Can menus have end action
Hey All,
We’re using Encore CS3 for a client project involving a DVD lobby loop with touch screen interaction and we’ve run into a snag. We’ve created a DVD navigation with an attract loop at the opening of the disc that navigates to a main menu when touched.
This all works perfectly. Unfortunately our client wants to avoid screen burn in and would like the DVD to revert to the attract loop if there is no user interaction for 30 seconds after they reach the main menu. We’ve set an animated background that plays for 30 second in the main menu and set its looping to None, and then the end action of the menu is set to take us back to the attract loop menu. This is perfect cause with each chapter reverting to the main menu if someone walks away from the kiosk the DVD should eventually go back to the attract mode.
When we do preview of this navigation it works perfectly. However upon building and burning our navigation dies and the DVD just rests on the main menu with out returning to the attract loop menu. Why would there be a disjoint between the preview and the final burn?
This is basic flow
ATTRACT MENU LOOP > MAIN MENU PLAYS ONCE > ATTRACT MENU LOOP
Does anyone out there know what can be done to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
