Can kaleidoscope effect be transparent to layer over another clip?
Is it possible to make the kaleidoscope effect transparent in Avid MC to layer over another clip? In FCP that is easy to layer . Cannot figure this out.
Tried superimpose would not work .

Media Composer has a ‘different’ method of working with multiple effects.
See if there’s a BCC effect that does what you want. At the bottom there will be the choice for “Geometrics” as well as opacity.
