can I uninstal and reinstal vegas without losing my project files?
I have been working on a project that requires quite a bit of tracking ( moving video ) and kroma key. recently the files keep shutting down on me while I am working and rendering files. I have about a 250 gig hard drive with about 35 gigs left of space and about 3 gigs of ram. this just started happening and I am just wondering if reinstalling the program would fix this or if you have any other sugestions.

It won’t effect your project files. Just to be safe, copy them to another source outside of your computer. Like online, or an external. What version of Vegas are you using? What’s happening with your files? Are you saying your program is crashing? A re-install might not cure the problem. I’ve had issues like what you are referring to, but it had to do with various types of video formats in one timeline, which kept crashing things.
