Can I still not natively send an OMF or AAF from FCP?
I have a picture ready to send for sound and I need to send an OMF or AAF. Does FCPX still not do that? If not, am I right my only option is X2Pro?

Apple never included that professional standard for FCPX. Yep, X2Pro… Apple hates professionals.

If you have Logic, you can send an fcpxml to Logic and use Logic to export an AAF, but X2Pro is recommended and works very well.
It’s worth the money.

Both Logic and X2Pro have been a lifesaver for me 🙂

But if you’re in a professional broadcast of film environment, it’s not that easy, you rely on others and have to share projects. FCPX is the worst at that. And OMF and AAF are still widely used in the industry. Just saying.
