Hi – I have a proxy sequence that doesn’t look good on export. I’d like to reattach the full rez media for this sequence. I must be missing something, but I see no easy way to do it. Must I reattach every clip in the project, slowly linking folder by folder? Or can I somehow identify the clips in the sequence – “media relatives” – avid calls them – and just reattach those?

There might be an easier way – brainstorming here with you. Could you “remove” (move) the proxy media somewhere with PP closed. Then open up the project and it will ask you to re-link. Point the first clip to the folder with the high res media and, presuming the file names match, it should locate most or all of them in one foul swoop. If not, the relink window has a powerful search feature that I have found works really well. I usually have to manually relink some clips, but a handful is better than all.

If that won’t work, I’ll keep pondering this.
