Can I quick edit synced audio or video? Vegas 11
I’ve been using both Sony Vegas and Final Cut for a while now, and I was wondering if it’s possible to edit just the audio or video with a shortcut key. In Final Cut, you can do this by holding Alt/Option while dragging the edge of a clip, and the clips stay grouped afterward. It’s a lot faster than ungrouping and regrouping clips in vegas with the U and G shortcuts, and I was wondering if it’s possible to set up this shortcut. If not, could this be implemented in a future update? I’ve noticed that Shift-dragging the edges of clips doesn’t seem to do anything; maybe that’s a good place to bind it.

You can click “Ignore event grouping” toolbar button and trim audio (or video)

That’s true, I guess I could find something to bind that to. I just liked the simplicity of the alt-click, rather than a toggle.
