I am editing a feature shot in 30f on a Canon XH-A1 in CS3. However, there are portions of the movie that are supposed to take place on a reality show which were shot in 60i, the idea being that the footage will be layered over a TV screen to give the impression that it is playing on TV. It is important that the quality of the TV footage look different from that of the rest of the film (similar to watching a home movie in the context of the larger movie).

Is it possible to mix 30f and 60i in the same 30f timeline? It seems to import fine, but when there is a great deal of motion there are weird wavy lines around the people that are moving.

    Thanks,
    Stacey
