  • Can I make a project with other resolution.

I have a clip which I made in After effects with a resolution of 999 x 1027 and final cut does not recognise the resolution.
Is there anyway to force Final Cut X to recognize other resolutions than the ones pre installed?
I am using this for a green screen film, that is not supposed to fill up so much space.
    Best regards

No. At this time FCPX only supports broadcast resolutions. You can add your clip to any one of these resolutions and resize to fit the frame, but you cannot create custom resolutions.

    Hi Andy .
Thanks a lot for your answer.
I found out that I could open the file in timeline, but I am not sure that I kept the Alpha channel yet, after having exported it.
    Best regards
