  • Can I make a loop point in DVDA 2?

I don’t know where to access this. Can someone show me real quick? I have DVDA 2 and can’t find how to make a loop point for my motion menu. Thanks! I know that DVDA 3 can do this, but what about 2?

In the menu properties, you set the “length” of time the menu is to play. It will then loop at that point if you have set the menu up to loop. I believe it’s in the same place in both DVDA2 and DVDA3 (I’d have to open both to verify except DVDA3 had better separated categories) – just in the menu properties.

As Edward says, you can set the menu to loop in DVDA 2, but you cannot create a menu that loops from a point other than the beginning as in DVDA 3.

Thanks guys. I need to loop the menu at a point that is not at the beginning. So I guess I got to get DVDA 3. Oh well.

Oh, you meant the BEGINNING (thank’s Gary). You could always render the piece you want looped out separately in Vegas.

Yeah, I thought of that too. Tried it from Vegas and worked fine, except that the button highlight for the selected state was “on” the whole duration of the menu. In Encore and DVDSP, the highlighted button in its selected state would only appear once it rolls over the loop point. I would assume that works for DVDA 3, right?

    Right.
