Can I get rid of this distortion in background?
Looks like the old morie effect. There was a screen that acted as an ND of sorts but unfortunately it wreaked havoc as well. You can see where the screen ends and the field is clear in the background. Any tricks to deal with this? We shot this in standard 60i mode on the DVX.

If you could cut a matt around it and apply a little gaussian blur that might fix it. I don’t know if your main subject would be too hard to matt.
