Can i fit a 5 hour video on a 4.7GB DVD?
Hello Creative Cow people!
I have a question for you guys. I have been hired to make a dvd for an association that is putting on a talent show.
The running time of the show is about three hours.
They also want about an hours worth of behind the scenes footage.
So approx a 4 hour disc.
( they are also stressing that they would like it all contained on one disc.)My question is, there a compression format i can use to make this possible?
I know about dual layer discs and that it would probably be the best course,
but i’m taking most of the cost up front in hopes that I can recoup cost and
gain profit through the sale of the DVD.
Dual layer dvds ups my cost considerably which might put too much on my plate
to recoup costs in case the sales of the dvd don’t do to well.
What do you guys and gals suggest?
