I’m new to BorisFX and having great fun creating 3d text to use in my video intros.

I’d love to be able to export a text logo creation in reverse as a vector art Illustrator file.

Can anyone please advise me how to do so…?… I have Adobe Illustrator but never used it and I’d bet I can probably import the right kind of Sony Vegas rendered file to Ai…?

My team text logo looks sooooo much better in 3D so I’d like to be able to print it and replace team email account signature etc.

    Nick,

You might be able to export the 3D Extruded Text image with an Alpha and perhaps convert that image to an Illustrator file. However, at this stage the Extruded Text would no longer be a Vector-based image, so at the very least, you would need to set the file-size in After Effects (first in Composition and then when making the text with BCC), and then use these locked dimensions for use later on.

    Hope this helps,

    Jon
