    Hi there!

I was wondering, can I do picture on picture using power point on a Tricaster?

I know this sounds like a fairly easy question to answer but i’ve been having difficulty finding it.

    cheers

I know that you can do a “side by side” 2 box effect. The primary source for any effect is determined by your selection in the main input menu of the Input Setup panel. The second video source is designated by the Effects Row selection in the switcher.

what we did to get this effect was to use the 3d transition which scales the video layer down in to a small square box and off to the bottem left edge of the screen. if you just do a half transition it will gives you that picture in picture look.
