Can I change the location of my Attic?
Long time Avid editor here, but a little out of practice after several years of working on FCP. Is there a way to re-assign where my Avid Attic folder lives? Seems to me having it in the same directory as your original project files is kind of like putting your spare car keys in the glove box of your car…
Please advise, thanks!

I don’t think it has been thought of as a “system meltdown backup” as much as a “crap, that sequence got screwed up”. In either case, look at it from the other side, you could always save your projects in a different location than your attic. I routinely back my projects up to a drop box account, and have run them off that same account when switching between facilities.
