Can I change aspect ratio on video?
Hi,
I am working on a video sequence and wonder if anybody knows if it’s possible to change the aspect ratio on my video so that it gets squared 1:1 ( or preferably 3:4 (not 4:3). Is it possible to do this in Final Cut, or do I need another program?
Hope somebody can help me.

Double Click your clip.
Under Motion Tab.
Distort Section.
Aspect Ratio.Chris Tompkins

Go to Sequence, Settings, and change the Aspect Ratio to Custom. YOu can make any Frame Size you want. Be prepared to do lots of rendering. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Can I do what you suggested in Final Cut Pro X or just in the older versions? I don´t find the Motion Tab, nor the Sequence settings in Final Cut Pro X. 🙁
