  • Can I attach an object to the front of a trim path?

If I had a trim path and wanted to have an arrowhead at the front of the path while its animating how would i do that? My issue is I have a path in after effects and I cant just copy and paste it into the shape I have and make it a motion path. it just ends up making a new group not a motion path. I can copy the path, paste into illustrator and then go back to after effects and paste it into the shape but it doesn’t paste it in the exact same spot that the original path was.

I’m not sure if there is a way of just attaching an object onto the front of a trimmed path but it would be nice.
