    Can FCX handle native 5D MKII H.264 files?

    I’ve read some information about how Premiere Pro processes native H.264, and it’s not necessary to convert to Pro Res. How does FCX handle those files, and is it REALLY necessary to transcode, as they suggest?

    No it’s not, I use them all the time without transcoding.
