Can anyone tell me what’s happening here?
Hey everyone. Can anyone tell me what’s going on with the pixellation in the image above? It only happens when I work with MTS (AVCHD) files and it happens randomly for 3-5 frames. I can’t predict when it will happen and it doesn’t happen with every MTS clip I try to edit. This is just one example, but the pixellation occurs differently each time. When I play back the original file from the camera on my computer and on the camera, it doesn’t happen, so I’m led to believe there’s something going on with how Premiere is processing the footage.
Computer specs:
Windows 7-64bit
Intel i7 2GHz
12GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 670 (with latest drivers downloaded)
Premiere CS6.0.3 -

I’m going to link you to an older post, but it seems that it’s a matter of making sure that your Premiere Pro project matches the specs of your footage. You can test this by just dragging a clip to the New Sequence icon at the bottom of the Project Panel, and see how it plays back then:

Also, don’t judge your footage on the computer screen or in premiere.
Export a clip and play it back.Chris

Hey Chris. I did that and it exported with the pixellation.
