  Can anyone elaborate on Sony Vegas Certifications?

  I am interested in learning more about the Sony Vegas Certified User and Editor certifications. There is not much info on them on the Sony website.

  Where do I purchase the Digital Video and Audio Production course book? I do not see it on Sony website. Is there going to be an update for Vegas 8 Pro?

  What do these certifications get me, besides showing people I have experience using Vegas? Are there many businesses that look for this certification in people?

  Would it be wise to buy the VASST and other training DVD’s first and run through them?
