    Can AJA KONA can output HDV sequence to HDCAM or any othe HD format deck with HD-SDI in via HD-SDI
    so that I can avoid the nightmare of outputting via firewire as it is.

    and any issue of doing that?

    Don’t know which Kona card you have, but the answer is most likely yes, absolutely. You’ll need to set your Kona Control Panel to output SDI 1080i — pretty much a peice of cake.
