I need to edit some MP4/H.264 video. These are conversions of very old silent home 8mm films. I need to add some title pages, and some annotations to scenes identifying people, and some simple transitions. Nothing fancy. What software should I buy? I have a slight preference to use Adobe if they have a product that is good, simple for this limited need, and not too expensive. One additional bit of information. The raw video is about 12 minutes in length and several of the scenes are only 3 seconds long. Does this size of file or large number of scenes effect the choice of software?

    Hello,

For your needs, i would suggest buying a home user editing software, like ulead video studio or something similar. It usually comes bundled with a capture card at any corner it store.

    Merry Christmas,
