  camera wont accept tapes

  I have a problem with my Cannon MV500I, everytime a tape is put in the unit, a message comes up saying EJECT TAPE. It has not been used for a while due to this problem, we did have it looked at, it did work a couple of times after it was looked at, then back to this problem.
  I would love to use it again as it is a great little unit
