    Hi everyone!

Disclaimer: I’m pretty new to AE, so maybe this is an easy answer – hopefully it is!

So I’ve created this logo animation where the logo starts off zoomed in and, through camera movement, is revealed. The camera moves through particles as if in space, which is a cool effect (I think). However, there comes a point where the logo is revealed and I’d like, at this point, the logo to stay static but for the camera to continue moving through the particles as if space is moving around the static logo. Here’s what I’ve got so far, I think it’ll be clear what my goal is.

Just not sure the best way to keep a camera moving independently of my main camera which at this point has stopped. New camera? Make the particles move independently? Would love some help!

If you want to make it look as if the particles are moving you will ha e to animate the particles as well as the camera.

    cheers,

You could parent the logo layer(s) to the camera, and animate the logo’s position property early in the comp. Ease it to a constant value where you want it to remain still. You can continue flying the camera through space, and since the logo is parented to the camera, the logo will fly along right with it.
