  • Camera rotation issue when using Sub-frame Motion Blur

I’m having an issue in which a camera that I’ve imported from AE hits a certain point in it’s rotation axis it does a full 360, which leaves an image trail when I have sum-frame motion blur enabled. I’ve tried switching to vector blur for these moments (there are about 3 or 4 of these glitches in a 20 second clip), but I’m not able to use a shadow catcher material when I do.

In the pics below you can see this happens when the camera shifts from 359 back to 0. I’m guessing this is an issue with how AE does it’s camera degrees vs how in C4D it just keeps going instead of returning to 0. Hoping there’s a simple fix out there that someone’s aware of.

    Thanks!
